Next up in the Year Long Knit Along is Everyday Attitude by Susanne Sommer. Continuing on with the linen theme Everyday Attitude is a light summer top perfect for those hot sunny days.

Susanne says about the design:

'You probably don’t even know what attitude means!’ – goes a line (translated from German) from a song about and against racism from Die Ärzte, my all-time favorite band. Having a strong set of morals and values expressed with kindness as well as emphatic strength – an attitude – has always been incredibly impor- tant to me, and it is one of the main guides for leading my life: for which people and businesses I associate with, which products I buy, which politics I support.⁠

When I was asked to design something with this prompt, my favorite band and punk past came to mind, and one of the most iconic, essential garments: the striped tee. The chevron pattern at the shoulders adds a bit of a twist to this knitted version of a classic striped tee'⁠

Everyday Attitude is made using two colours of the Växbo Lingarn. This 100% linen yarn has an amazing range of colours and is ideal for summer wear.

1 (1, 1, 1, 2)(2, 2, 2, 2) x 100g skeins in Contrast Colour.
Colours used in sample: Black and White.
