This week I've hardly touched my needles, I've been preparing for the iKnit7 Hilja Mitts KAL and so I've done nothing but wrap up kit parcels to get them shipped out as quickly as possible. I've spent literarily every available second on my feet in the shop. Normally we are three people sharing this job, but as social distancing and travel restrictions prevents it I'm basically on my own and packing has become my life - I am so ready for knit night tonight!!!

Wrapping up those kits in such beautiful colour combos and seeing them laid out together, have filled me with newfound joy and inspiration. Working on my colourwork cardigan sample from Strands of Joy, and getting ready to learn the Roosimine technique in the upcoming KAL are just small beginnings of my current obsession, going back to my Norwegian roots I am all about colourwork these days, I'm literally seeing stitch and colour combinations everywhere and I want to cast-on all the things! What is your knitting hang-up, if you have one? I'm looking forward to hearing the stories tonight! See you there!

Let's Hang Out
