We have lots of amazing yarns that are perfect for adventuring with and some of the designs in the book call specifically for some of the yarns we stock. Such as the beautiful Norwegian yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk. The ideal yearn for snowy winter days, blustery hilltop walks or sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows. Let's take a look at some of the designs inside.

The Tusseladd Sweater and Cardigan. This full yoke has a pleasingly complicated look and one you can really get absorbed into. The repeat is quite small so should be easy to get into the rhythm of. There is some juggling of three colours on some of the rows which takes a bit of getting used to but well worth the effort. Knit in three colours with one striking main colour mixed with two contrast colours. Knit in Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk Tinde.

Tusseladd Polar is the same as the lighter Tusseladd's but knit in the heavier weight Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk Blåne for an even more cosy jumper.

The Storm Sweater is knit with two strands of Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk Sølje. A simple design that allows the colour of the yarn to really shine out. A bit of flair is introduced at the neck, cuffs and hem with a different colour that is held along with the main for a subtle detail.

The Pilgrim Sweater Thin has a pleasing ribbon like band of a yoke pattern framed by purl bump ridges. There is almost a woven quality to it. A great way of making two favourite colours stand out as the yoke design takes one skein of each colour. Worked from the top down the yoke motif is echoed on the sleeves and hem in a more minimal band. Knit in Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk Tinde.

Pilgrim Sweater Polar is the heavier weight version of the Pilgrim Sweater and knit in a combination of Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk Blåne and Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk Troll.

So what are you waiting for ... cozy knitting on cold winter evenings awaits, not to mention the warmth and joy of wearing them when done!
