Cirro
Cirro
Low stock: 1 left
Cirro is a sport weight yarn, processed in a mill in Southern Peru, that combines the long lustrous Suri alpaca fibre with Merino wool. The brushed effect is created by wrapping this blend around an organic cotton binder thread to achieve a light and airy yarn, perfectly balanced for body and drape.
Knitted alone, Cirro creates a delightfully soft, haloed fabric that is light as a feather and easily worn next to the skin. It also knits beautifully held double with several other yarns from The Fibre Co. including Cumbria Fingering and Meadow.
Elderberry by Renée Callahan
Did you notice Renée's latest design the Elderberry popping up on social media everywhere? I, for one, sure sat up and paid attention.
Made in the super-lush Cirro by the Fibre Co, this is one of those jumpers that looks so much more complicated than what they are. Suitable for enthusiastic beginners I would say, as Renée's pattern writing skills are superb. She will guide you through each step, making sure that all techniques are clearly explained. Elderberry is a seamless pullover featuring a two-colour garter stitch pattern with striking single-colour columns running from the neck, down the body and arms to the hem and cuffs. These stripes give a contemporary sporty look, softened by the gentle halo of Cirro.
