Quince & Co

Availability : In stock

Willet is light and summery, sourced from high-quality, responsibly grown organic cotton. The fiber's long staple length yields a deliciously soft yarn with a hint of pretty sheen. With 24 sts on 10cm/4", it works both as a sport and dk weight. In Willet's neat little stitches, you'll see potential for sweet baby things, cool tanks and tees, pillow covers and summer throws, shawls, and more. Try it in a pretty lace pattern or a well-defined knit/purl texture.

Originally developed using Cleaner Cotton™, grown in California, Quince & Co are now spinning Willet using GOTS-certified 100% organic cotton fibre from the Texas Organic Cotton Marketing Collective. As they transition their fiber source for this delightful yarn, you may receive Willet made with either organic cotton or with Cleaner Cotton™; your skeins will be labeled accordingly.

All-natural, colourgrown heathers: Almond, Cashew. Rarer than white cotton varieties, colourgrown cotton contains natural green, brown, and red pigments. Almond and Cashew are made from white Cleaner Cotton™ and USA-grown brown colourgrown cotton.

A note about the dyed cotton: Some colors may show dye runoff during blocking or washing, especially with highly saturated colors; this is normal. Machine wash cold with like colors only. For best results, hand wash recommended, lay flat to dry.
