The perfect first sweater project or mindless Netflix and Chill companion, whether you are a beginner or an intermediate knitter, this jumper is bound to be the new go-to piece in your wardrobe!

Juntu is an easy and relaxed basic sweater. It’s knitted top-down in one piece with raglan sleeves and a classic boxy fit. Juntu means a forest trail in Finnish, and the intention is that with needles and Tukuwool yarn you can tread your own paths. Once you’ve knitted the basic pattern, you can easily modify the appearance of the sweater by playing with different stitch patterns. Try knitting stockinette, seed stitch, or other simple textured stitches, make the ribbing longer, or switch to a different ribbing patterns like 2x2 rib stitch.

Sizes 1-8: Measurements given are for the finished garment.

The sweater is designed to fit with about 10-30 cm / 4-12” positive ease at bust.

When purchasing the Juntu Yarn Kit you’ll receive the pattern for FREE as a PDF sent directly to you via email, in addition you'll need circular needles size 4mm / US6 and 5mm / US8 in 80cm /32” length (use shorter circulars, double pointed needles or the Magic Loop method for your sleeves), 9 stitch markers where one should be easily distinguishable from the others, and a darning needle for weaving in your ends.

PLEASE NOTE: Your yarn kit can be purchased with or without the pattern. The pattern will be provided as a pdf sent to you via email as soon as your order has been processed. In addition you'll need 2.75mm and 3.5mm circular needles, stitch markers and a darning needle to complete your project.
