Shipping and handling
Orders placed between December 23rd - January 2nd will ship as soon as we resume regular hours January 2nd 2025.
As a UK Yarn Shop, Knit with attitude supports our local post office and send our parcels through them using Royal Mail and Parcel Force services. We work hard to make sure your order gets to you as soon as possible, and aim to have your order dispatched the following working day upon placing your order.
Estimated delivery within the United Kingdom is the next working day using Royal Mail 1st Class, and 2-3 days with 2nd Class.
Standard or tracked delivery to the EU is 5-7 working days and 10-14 working days for rest of the world.
Estimated delivery using International Economy is 10-15 days within EU and 6 - 8 weeks to the rest of the world (estimated delivery excludes the dispatch date).
Although there is a good chance your order could be delivered the next day, bear in mind that we do not guarantee next day delivery. For your records, you will receive your final invoice and shipping note on the dispatch date. If your order has been dispatched but hasn't arrived within the expected time period, please contact me.
Please note: We do not class a UK order as missing until 21 days from the date of dispatch. For orders outside of the UK, this period rises to 60 days from the date of dispatch.
EU and Norway
Knit with attitude is registered with the Norwegian VAT On E-Commerce (VOEC) and the EU Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS), meaning that for customers in the EU who orders a value below 150 Euro, or in Norway who orders a value below 3000 NOK, your orders will be subject to your country’s sales tax, which will be included on your bill at the checkout. We will collect VAT on your behalf so that you will not be charged any additional import tax and will not be subject to additional delays when your order passes through customs borders between the UK and the EU / Norway.
If the total value of your order is above 150 Euro / 3000 NOK, all sales tax will be removed from your bill and your order will be subject to customs and import charges when it passes through to your local custom’s authority. This means you may be charged VAT or duty before your order is released from customs.
Other International
Knit with attitude does not collect VAT on customers behalf.
Prices will be displayed at 20% less than the UK prices. Orders shipped outside the United Kingdom may be liable to taxes, duties, custom charges and extra fees charged by the courier company at destination. Payment will need to be made by the recipient and we cannot be held responsible for any charge once the package has been shipped from our London shop. Please note the custom process might incur additional delays.
Should a parcel be refused at point of entry and charges left unpaid by the customer so that the parcel is sent back to us, we will refund the purchase less the shipping cost and charges occurred.
Delivery costs are defined by the total weight of your order and shipping address.
Please see our Return Policy for returns, exchanges and refunds.
