Sartuul sheep is a special Mongolian sheep breed which provides very soft and fine fibers, Yak might be more known by knitters for its extremely soft and luxurious feel, both fibres are very similar to cashmere to the touch. Nomadnoos So Soft Yak and Sartuul is the perfect blend between these two, resulting in a yarn so smooth and soft it is hard to believe. The whole process behind these exclusive hanks is done by hand, from combing, washing and carding the fibres in Mongolia, then on to being dyed and spun by women in Mongolia and Nepal.
So Soft Yak and Sartuul is a truly luxurious light fingering weight yarn, made from the absolutely finest of fibres.
