So it is with great excitement we can announce the launch of the Knit With Attitude Book. Which is now available for pre-order. You may have seen the teaser pics going out on social media over the past couple of days but with these blog posts I will take a little bit more of a look at the patterns inside.

This book celebrates 10 years of Knit With Attitude and features designs from 12 designers. All responding to the theme of Attitude. The designers are: Fiona Alice, May Linn Bang, Renée Callahan, Isa Catepillán, George A Cullen, Julie Dubreux, Francesca Hughes, Eli Leistad, Noma Ndlovu, Natalie Selles, Susanne Sommer and Karie Westermann.

This post I will look at the designs from Isa Catipillan and Julie Dubreux.

Boldo Top by Isa Catepillán.

This fabulous crochet top by crochet genius Isa is simple but striking. Using only a combination of double and single crochet and chain stitch. The back features a deep v shaped opening adding an extra touch of sophistication. Designed as a short cropped top and great worn on its own or over a long sleeve top or dress. Though the design is easy to modify for a longer length. A bit of pizzazz is added at the end in the form of a ruffle that is applied to the front. This adds an extra dimension and a fun 3D edition.

Crocheted in Växbo Lingarn for a crisp and sturdy stitch definition. This linen has a slight sheen to it that adds to the sophistication. Linen holds its shape really well and creates garments that age beautifully and softens with wear. The sample is crocheted in the Umbra colour.

Sockitude Knee Highs by Julie Dubreux.

You may remember the Attitude Cowl by Julie that she designed in 2018. Well now she has brought the attitude to your feet with these knee highs. These long socks are a colourwork lovers dream and feature a repeating motif along the entire leg. Only two colours are worked per round and the feet are worked in blocks of coloured stripes. These socks are made for having fun with colour and are guaranteed to make you smile while you knit them.

Knit in Coopknits Socks Yeah giving you a ton of colour mixing opportunities. These solid merino and nylon, 50g skeins are one of our favourites here. A versatile yarn which is great for any project. We have just introduced the neons if you are feeling wild! Julies sample uses: Helium 100, Krypton 1002, Argon 1003, Xenon 1004 and Radon 1005.
