Introduction to Amigurumi

Learn to Crochet in 3D to make your own animals or other creatures! Amigurumi is the japanese art of crochet stuffed toys and dolls, that are created by working in the round to create 3-dimensional shapes. This is a beginner/intermediate class as although it is a simple technique, it can be a bit tricky at first. Absolute beginners are welcome, but it is recommended that you have a little experience. You can book in for a one-to-one beforehand or beginners class to learn the basics. As usual there will be tea and biscuits for sustenance, but as it is an evening session, you can also have a complimentary cocktail while you crochet! (some people swear it helps, although we obviously cannot confirm this!) We will provide a small selection of materials and hooks for you to use while you practice the stitches, and then a 10% discount in the shop for you to get started on your project! This workshop is taught by Sanna King; London based designer/maker aka Sannapanda, and an amazingly well liked tutor. “Sanna is a brilliant teacher – very patient and clear with her instructions. So nice to learn new skills!”
